10-1/2" San-Mai Chef's knife

This truly spectacular 10-1/2" chef's knife. hand-forged from some of Japan's best steel stainless and blue super#2 san-mai. 

The handle is hand carved from locally sourced buckeye and dyed oak burl. It was then finished with an impermeable food safe epoxy and polished to bring out the depth of character in the wood grain. 

the sheath is made from American raised cow hide tanned in Pennsylvania.
